Financial Accountant

Financial Accountant required in Plattekloof, Cape Town.

Our FMCG / Retail Client is looking for a Financial Accountant with 5 years plus experience within the financial accounting industry.

You will do the full financial accounting, payroll and reporting functions. You will also management of month-end processes, payroll administration, budgeting, forecasting, fixed assets and intercompany transactions.

SAIPA Professional Accountant designation or completed SAIPA/SAICA articles preferred.

Salary up to R50 000 per month.

• BCom Accounting, Financial Management, or equivalent qualification.
• SAIPA Professional Accountant designation or completed SAIPA/SAICA articles preferred.
• Minimum 5 years plus total years’ experience in a financial accounting environment.
• Experience in Retail, fmcg, manufacturing, or multi-entity environments advantageous.

• Month-end and year-end reporting
• Payroll 30 staff
• VAT and statutory compliance
• Budgeting and forecasting
• Fixed asset accounting & Audit preparation
• ERP experience, specifically SYSPRO, advantageous.
• Payroll system experience, specifically SAGE
  300 People, advantageous.
• Financial Accounting and General Ledger
• Financial reporting and analysis.
• Month-End and Management Reporting
• Strong understanding of IFRS.
• SARS eFiling and statutory reporting experience.
• Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable Accounts Payable
• Cashbook and Treasury Management
• Taxation and Statutory Compliance
