SAMRC Intern: Finance

The SAMRC extends an invite to graduates to apply and participate in an internship programme within the Finance Department.

Applicants are encouraged to apply for this programme by submitting their Curriculum Vitae (CV) and supporting documents (certified copies of completed Qualifications, Identity document and driver’s license where applicable) with their application on Direct Hire.

• Assist with day-to-day financial administration and accounting activities.
• Capture and process financial transactions accurately on accounting systems.
• Assist with accounts payable and receivable and related documentation.
• Perform basic reconciliations of financial records and accounts.
• Maintain and organise financial records, invoices and supporting documents.
• Assist with Excel-based financial reports, data capturing and analysis.
• Provide general administrative support to the Finance Department and assist with financial queries.

• 3-year National Accounting Diploma or similar relevant qualification or higher
• Exposure to Excel and an Accounting package such as Pastel will be advantageous.
