Lead UK non-profit organisation audits from a flagship Cape Town team

An award-winning UK chartered accountancy and tax advisory firm is seeking an Audit Senior to join their flagship Cape Town team
, offering high-value international exposure across a diverse portfolio of UK non-profit organisation clients
.

Reporting to Audit Managers, you will take full ownership of running audit engagements from planning through to completion. You will oversee daily client testing, ensure regulatory compliance, and mentor junior team members across various audit assignments.

• Lead end-to-end audit engagements for UK-based non-profit organisation clients from planning through to completion.
• Perform risk and control assessments to ensure compliance with relevant accounting and auditing standards.
• Review audit testing and working papers prepared by junior staff for technical accuracy.
• Delegate tasks, coordinate daily workflow, and coach junior staff on engagement deliverables.
• Present audit findings and process efficiency recommendations to managers and client stakeholders.
• Conduct audit testing using electronic audit tools, Case Ware Accounts, and Xero.

• Newly qualified CA(SA)
• Completed SAICA training articles within an established audit practice.
• Experience auditing clients in the non-profit sector is a requirement.
• Proven track record of leading audit engagements from initial planning through to final completion.
• Practical exposure to electronic audit software, Case Ware Accounts, and Xero.
