Accounting Intern - Learnership; Ct

Our client in Tygervalley, Cape Town (Western Cape) is seeking a detail-oriented and reliable Accounting Intern to join their team. This YES Internship offers an excellent opportunity for an individual with a financial or accounting background to gain valuable practical experience within a professional and fast-paced environment.

Salary is R7 500. This is a 12 month Fixed Term YES learnership.

• Perform general administrative and accounting duties
• Provide basic accounting and financial administration support
• Capture financial data accurately and maintain proper records
• Assist with invoicing, reconciliations, and related accounting tasks
• Assist with processing and maintaining financial documentation
• Support daily accounting and administrative requirements
• Ensure all documentation is completed accurately and submitted timeously
• Assist with filing and maintaining financial records
• Provide administrative support to the finance department as required

• Grade 12 / Matric
• Must not have completed a YES Programme before
• Some exposure to accounting or financial administration will be advantageous
• Strong attention to detail and excellent organisational skills
• Reliable, punctual, and eager to learn
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Good computer literacy, particularly Microsoft Office and Excel
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Must reside in or close to Tygervalley/Cape Town
  , or be willing to relocate
