Accountant; Half

.
This is an excellent opportunity for a qualified accounting professional looking for a flexible half-day position while continuing to make a meaningful contribution within an established and growing organisation.
Minimum requirements (Advantageous):

• Currently registered as a Professional Accountant (SA), AGA(SA).
• Previous experience working in an accounting practice.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Good communication and organisational skills.
• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices.

Duties and responsibilities include, but not limited to:

• Prepare, review and sign off confirmation letters, company certificates and agreed-upon procedure reports for accounting clients.
• Prepare management accounts and financial reports, where applicable.
• Review accounting records and reconciliations.
• Assist with tax and statutory compliance.
• Provide accounting support and guidance to clients.
• Review work completed by junior accounting staff.
• Assist with ad hoc accounting and client-related duties.
• Ensure work is completed accurately and within required deadlines.
