Accounts Intern

Cavalli Estate is seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Accounts Intern to join our Finance team. This internship offers an excellent opportunity for a recent graduate pursuing a qualification in Accounting, Finance, or a related field to gain practical experience in a dynamic business environment.

Creditors & Supplier Management

• Process supplier invoices, payment schedules, reconciliations and credit applications.

• Prepare month-end supplier schedules for cash flow forecasting.

Debtors & Accounts Receivable

• Process sales invoices, assist with cash-ups and reconciliations, and follow up on outstanding accounts.

Inventory & Stock Control

• Assist with stock reconciliations, weekly counts, variance investigations and inventory reporting.

Administration & Reporting

• Perform general finance administration and maintain accurate records.

• Prepare reports and schedules as required by the Financial Manager.

• Update the Fixed Asset Register monthly and assist with ad hoc finance projects

Minimum Requirements:

• Completed or currently pursuing a qualification in Accounting, Finance, Bookkeeping, or a related field.

• Basic understanding of accounting principles.

• Computer literacy, including Microsoft Excel.

• Strong numerical and analytical skills.

• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.

• Good communication and organizational skills.

• Ability to maintain confidentiality and work professionally.

  Advantageous

• Previous internship, work experience, or exposure to accounting environments.

• Experience working with Pastel Accounting software.

• Knowledge of inventory control and reconciliations.
