About the role

Our client is seeking a Junior AP / Administrative Clerk to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for providing essential support in the areas of accounts payable and general administrative tasks. The ideal candidate should possess strong proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel, and exhibit a keen willingness to learn new accounting software. Exposure to ERP systems, such as SAP, is a plus.

Excellent communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced corporate environment are essential for success in this role.

Key Responsibilities :
  • Review and analyse supplier invoices before arranging payment to be processed weekly.
  • Manage and maintain the Company’s supplier database.
  • Transaction processing support
  • Efficiently manage accounts payable tasks, including invoice processing, data entry, and reconciliation.
  • Utilize Microsoft Excel to its full potential, employing various formulas and functions, such as filters, to analyze and organize financial data.
  • Collaborate with the finance team to ensure accuracy and timeliness in financial transactions.
  • Maintain open lines of communication, both written and oral, with colleagues, vendors, and stakeholders.
  • Uphold corporate culture and values by exhibiting characteristics such as attention to detail, eagerness to learn, teamwork, innovation, and adaptability.
  • Thrive in a dynamic work environment and excel under time pressure.
Requirements :

Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, with an advanced knowledge of Excel and its functions

Exposure to an ERP system, such as SAP, is a plus.

Excellent written and oral communication skills in English.

Demonstrated characteristics fitting the corporate culture, including being detail-oriented, eager to learn, a team player, innovative, and dynamic.

Ability to perform effectively under time pressure and meet deadlines.
