We are pleased to invite internal applications for an Insurance Complaints & Documentation Administrator role supporting the team that delivers general insurance complaints and dispute resolution services for one of our clients.
This is primarily an administrative role focused on document management, case preparation, and supporting the team with complaints and disputes lodged with the Australian Financial Complaints Authority (AFCA).
Key Responsibilities:- Handle day-to-day administrative activities, including managing, collating, and locating documents relevant to AFCA complaints.
- Maintain accurate and timely case updates in line with established complaint-resolution workflows.
- Support the team in collating case materials and information required to prepare formal written responses.
- Assist with pre- and post-submission activities, including uploading Notices of Response and monitoring requests for additional information.
- Identify gaps or missing documentation and proactively follow up where required.
- Assist the team in managing competing deadlines and priorities.
- Strong administrative and document-management skills, with excellent attention to detail.
- Ability to maintain accurate records and handle confidential information appropriately.
- Ability to follow structured processes, procedures, and protocols.
- Proactive approach with the ability to identify gaps and take initiative.
- Strong organisational and time-management skills.
- Ability to manage competing priorities and meet deadlines.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
Experience:
The following experience would be advantageous:
- Experience in the short-term insurance industry or broader insurance/financial services sector.
- Experience working as, or supporting, a claims or complaints assessor
. - Previous experience in a documentation administration role.
- Experience in dispute resolution or complaints handling
. - Familiarity with insurance claims, complaints, or regulatory processes.
