Playing a central role within a growing operational and administrative environment, this position supports the day-to-day execution of medical equipment scheduling, asset tracking, and client services. The role is designed for an organised professional who takes full ownership of operational administration while maintaining strong commercial acumen and compassionate customer engagement.
Working under the guidance of management and business owners, the candidate will be responsible for streamlining operational workflows, coordinating stock and installer schedules, and overseeing comprehensive billing processes. This includes direct interface with private clients, healthcare providers, and medical aid schemes to resolve account query statements and support smooth service delivery.
Key Responsibilities- Execute daily medical aid billing and process customer quotes and invoices for both private clients and medical aid schemes .
- Manage daily receipts, handle rental contract administration, and maintain accurate manual and electronic filing systems .
- Follow up on outstanding account queries and statements to ensure effective revenue collection .
- Oversee daily equipment tracking, manage equipment availability per installer location, and liaise with installers regarding ongoing maintenance .
- Take full ownership of the six-monthly stock take and maintain operational summary reports and schedules .
- Apply practical problem-solving skills to manage everyday scenarios in a critical service delivery environment .
- Professionally answer telephone calls, manage incoming emails, and ensure operational communication across management, agents, suppliers, and customers .
- Maintain compliance standards, ensure patient and client information confidentiality, and ensure company mobile devices remain online daily
- Prior experience with Medical Aid Scheme billing procedures.
- 5 years of experience in a similar administrative or operational controller role
