Our client is seeking a highly skilled and analytical Automotive Diagnostic Technician to join their advanced service center in Upington . This role is critical for troubleshooting and resolving complex mechanical, electrical, and electronic issues across a diverse range of vehicle makes and models. You will utilize state-of-the-art diagnostic equipment and your deep technical knowledge to identify problems and recommend effective repair solutions.
This is an exceptional opportunity for an expert technician to lead diagnostic efforts and contribute to maintaining the highest standards of vehicle health and performance in the Northern Cape .
- Perform advanced diagnostics on complex vehicle systems, including engine, transmission, ABS, airbags, and climate control.
- Utilize sophisticated diagnostic tools, scanners, oscilloscopes, and multimeters to pinpoint faults.
- Interpret diagnostic data, technical service manuals, and wiring diagrams to develop repair strategies.
- Effectively communicate diagnostic findings, repair recommendations, and cost estimates to service advisors and customers.
- Conduct system programming, module coding, and complex electronic component repairs.
- Stay current with the latest automotive technology, diagnostic procedures, and manufacturer updates.
- Extensive experience as an Automotive Diagnostic Technician or Master Technician.
- Advanced certification (e.g., ASE Master Technician L1, L2, L3) is highly desirable.
- Exceptional ability to diagnose and repair intricate electrical and electronic automotive systems.
- Proficiency with a wide range of OEM and aftermarket diagnostic software and hardware.
- Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving capabilities.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to explain complex technical issues clearly.
