About the Role

Our client is searching for a strategic Agri-Business Development Manager to lead growth initiatives within their agricultural division in Cape Town . This pivotal role involves identifying new market opportunities, fostering strong relationships with stakeholders, and driving expansion of our client's agricultural product and service offerings. You will work closely with sales, marketing, and operations teams to develop and execute business plans that align with the company's vision for growth and sustainability in the Western Cape.

• Identify and evaluate new business opportunities within the agricultural sector, focusing on innovation and market trends.
• Develop and implement strategic business development plans to achieve revenue and market share growth targets.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients, partners, suppliers, and industry stakeholders in the Western Cape.
• Negotiate and close deals, ensuring favorable terms and long-term partnerships.
• Analyze market data and competitor activities to inform business strategy and product development.

• Master's degree in Business Administration, Agricultural Economics, or a related field.
• At least 8 years of experience in business development, sales, or marketing within the agri-business sector.
• Proven track record of successfully developing and executing growth strategies.
• Excellent negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills, with a strong understanding of the Capetown business landscape.
• Ability to travel within the region as required.
