Partner Relationship Manager

Confluent, home to Debt Busters and Just Money, helps South Africans take control of their finances. We are growing and are looking for a Partner Relationship Manager to join our Partnerships Team.
Job SummaryYou will manage a portfolio of strategic partners, making sure each partnership delivers value for both sides. That means tracking performance, managing costs and return, working closely with internal teams, and finding new ways to grow. You’ll take the initiative, spot opportunities and solves problems, with the support of an experienced manager.
Key Responsibilities- Manage partner relationships:
- Act as the main point of contact for assigned partners.
- Build strong, long-lasting relationships based on trust.
- Resolve partner queries and issues promptly and effectively.
- Drive and report on performance:
- Monitor partner performance and manage costs against agreed targets.
- Identify areas for improvement and work with partners to put them into action.
- Report on partner performance to partners and internal stakeholders.
- Grow the portfolio:
- Identify new opportunities to grow existing partnerships and develop new ones.
- Coordinate partner onboarding with internal teams.
- A relevant degree - Business, Marketing, or a related field.
- 3-5 years of experience in partner management, account management, or business development, ideally in financial services.
- Strong analytical, critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
- Confident in using data to make decisions.
- Highly organised, with meticulous attention to detail.
- A basic understanding of technical integrations is an advantage.
- Proactive: takes the initiative and does not wait for direction.
- Self-motivated and goal-oriented, with a drive to excel.
- Reliable, accountable and trustworthy.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Able to work independently and as part of a team.
- Ownership of your own partner portfolio in a small close-knit team, where your ideas are heard, with an experienced manager to support you.
