Business Development Operations, Proposals & Knowledge Manager

Prowess is seeking a Business Development Operations, Proposals & Knowledge Manager to join its Business Development Team in Cape Town, reporting to the Head of Client Management & Stakeholder Relations.

This role will form an integral part of our client growth strategy and will partner closely across all teams in Prowess.

The Business Development Operations, Proposals & Knowledge Manager is responsible for the end-to-end management of business development proposals, tenders, RFQs, RFPs, DDQs, client surveys, client presentations, business development documentation, and information repositories.

The role serves as the organization's central custodian of business development information, knowledge assets, proposal content, client-facing collateral, and presentation materials. The incumbent will establish and maintain structured processes, systems, governance frameworks, content libraries, and automation solutions that enable the organization to respond efficiently, accurately, and consistently to client and prospect requests.

This position requires a highly organized, deadline-driven professional who can work independently, manage multiple priorities simultaneously, leverage technology and AI solutions, and continuously improve processes to enhance business development effectiveness.

The successful candidate will operate as the organization's Proposal Centre of Excellence and Knowledge Management Lead, ensuring that critical information is readily available, protected, governed, and maintained to support growth, compliance, and excellent client service.

• Relevant degree (e.g. Business Administration, Commerce, Marketing, Communications, Information Management, Project Management, Knowledge Management or similar).
• Minimum of 5-years’ experience in proposal management, tender administration, business development support, knowledge/information management, client relationship management.
  
  This should include demonstrated experience designing business processes and implementing information management solutions.
• Experience utilizing AI and automation tools within business environments preferred.
• Experience in the financial services sector preferred
