Business Analyst

We are recruiting for an experienced Business Analyst to join an established organisation in Cape Town. This role supports business critical systems and change initiatives, working closely with stakeholders across the business and technology teams to deliver practical, well defined solutions.

Work with stakeholders to understand business needs and define requirements

Facilitate workshops, interviews and requirement validation sessions

Document business and functional requirements including BRDs, FRDs and user stories

Produce process maps including AS IS and TO BE, plus gap analysis and impact assessment

Support solution design by working with technical teams and third parties

Coordinate and support UAT, defect triage and go live readiness activities

Identify risks, issues and dependencies and support effective delivery governance

Contribute to continuous improvement of processes, systems and ways of working

Proven experience in a Business Analyst role within a complex environment

Strong SDLC understanding with experience across Agile and or Waterfall delivery

Confident producing clear documentation and translating needs into deliverable requirements

Strong stakeholder management, communication and workshop facilitation skills

Experience working with system integrations, process change or transformation programmes

Exposure to regulated or compliance driven environments is beneficial
