Delivery Specialist

We are supporting a client on a live requirement for an experienced Feature Analyst and are expanding our search for strong Cape Town-based profiles.

This opportunity is specifically for someone who is currently working hands-on as a Feature Analyst within an Agile delivery environment
.

The successful consultant will work closely with Product Owners, Business Stakeholders, Architects, Engineers, and Test Analysts to translate business objectives into clearly defined Features, Epics, User Stories, and Acceptance Criteria that enable successful delivery.

This is not a Scrum Master, Project Manager, or purely strategic Product Owner position. We are looking for someone who is actively performing feature analysis as part of their current day-to-day role.

• Elicit, analyse, and document business, customer, and operational requirements.
• Translate business requirements into Features, Epics, User Stories, and Acceptance Criteria
  .
• Lead feature discovery, decomposition, refinement, and clarification activities.
• Conduct impact, dependency, gap, and process analysis.
• Facilitate stakeholder workshops, discovery sessions, and backlog refinement.
• Support feature prioritisation and backlog management.
• Work closely with Product Owners, Engineering, and Testing teams throughout the delivery lifecycle.
• Validate proposed solutions before implementation and confirm that delivered features meet business objectives.
• Contribute to business process improvement, re-engineering, and operational optimisation
  .
• Support customer journey, automation, digitisation, and broader transformation initiatives.

• 5+ years of experience working within Agile delivery environments.
• At least 4 years of Feature, Functional, Systems, or Business Analysis experience
  .
• Current, hands-on experience in:
• Feature discovery and refinement.
• User Story creation and management.
• Defining Acceptance Criteria.
• Backlog refinement and prioritisation.
• Impact and dependency analysis.
• Stakeholder workshops and requirements clarification.
• Experience working directly with Engineering and technical delivery teams
  .
• Strong facilitation, analytical, stakeholder management, and problem-solving capability.
• Experience using Azure Dev Ops, Jira, Confluence, or similar Agile delivery tools
  .

Candidates must be permanently based in Cape Town and comfortable attending onsite workshops, stakeholder engagements, and collaborative sessions when required.

We are specifically looking for consultants who can demonstrate recent, practical Feature Analysis experience
.

Candidates whose analysis experience is primarily historical and who have spent the last 1–2 years predominantly operating as Scrum Masters, Agile Coaches, Delivery Leads, Project Managers, or Product Owners are unlikely to be suitable unless Feature Analysis remains a significant part of their current responsibilities.

We are particularly interested in consultants with experience in:

• Financial Services or other complex enterprise environments.
• Business Process Analysis and process mapping.
• Process re-engineering and operational optimisation.
• Customer journey mapping and experience improvement.
• Automation and digitisation programmes.
• Agile, Scrum, or SAFe delivery environments.
• SDLC and cross-functional technology delivery.
