About the Role

A leading Independent Power Producer (IPP) in Southern Africa, is seeking a skilled Site Civil Supervisor to join its dynamic team. This role is pivotal in managing and overseeing all civil works on renewable energy construction projects, ensuring they are executed to high standards of quality, safety, and efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise all civil works on site in line with project specs and quality standards

• Monitor subcontractor performance and resolve on-site issues swiftly

• Conduct regular safety and quality inspections, ensuring HSE compliance

• Coordinate daily operations with construction managers, engineers, and other stakeholders

• Oversee resource management and ensure timely delivery of materials/equipment

• Maintain documentation and provide accurate daily and progress reports

• Provide technical support and ensure feasibility of civil works

Minimum Requirements

• Diploma or Degree in Civil Engineering

• 5+ years’ experience in civil supervision (Renewable Energy or Construction preferred)

• Solid understanding of civil engineering, construction practices, and safety regulations

• Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills

• Proficiency in construction management tools/software

• Valid driver’s license & willingness to travel
