Site Quantity Surveyor

Job Description

A large contracting company with offices in Cape Town and Gauteng is looking for a Site Quantity Surveyor.

Minimum requirements:

• Accredited Degree in Quantity Surveying.

• 5-10 years working experience.

• NEC contract experience is a must.

• Strong working knowledge of Contract

• Strong experience with Change Management.

• Computer literate with strong skills in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word)

• Experience with in a construction/engineering (EPC) background

• Full driving license and own transport.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Administration of subcontractor/supplier accounts from the preparation of detailed requisitions (tenders), assessing of subcontract payments through to agreement of final accounts.

• Undertake the subcontract administration, including change management and maintain associated registers.

• Assist the Contract Administrator in the

• Preparation, negotiation and agreement of subcontract compensation events and extension of time.

• Implementing, maintaining, and monitoring Cost Control Procedures.

• Prepare Cost reports, Cashflow and Forecast Costs of subcontracts/suppliers.
