IntroductionWe are seeking a dedicated Construction Health and Safety Officer to ensure legal compliance with the Occupational Health and Safety (OHS) Act and related regulations. The successful candidate will provide guidance, advice, and enforce HSE protocols across our construction projects, ensuring a safe working environment for all personnel.
Key Responsibilities- Ensure compliance with the OHS Act and applicable regulations.
- Assist management in implementing health and safety policies.
- Advise on HSE-related issues for contracts and projects.
- Conduct risk assessments and inspections.
- Investigate incidents and recommend corrective actions.
- Maintain accurate health and safety records.
- Promote a culture of safety across all site personnel.
- Grade 12 certificate.
- Safety Representative Accreditation.
- SACPCMP registration (compulsory).
- Minimum 3 years’ experience in residential or commercial construction.
