Foreman, Construction

Our client, a reputable and well-established construction company, focused on medium to large scale building projects, seeks to employ an experienced general and/or finishing foreman to join their progressive and expanding professional team in Cape Town.

Please note that this role is not suited to candidates with a background in Civils but rather focused on building of malls, medical centres, luxury residential estates, high-rise commercial buildings and educational institutions.

KEY REQUIREMENTS TO MEET FOR CONSIDERATION:

• You will have Matric, coupled with 3-5 plus years experience in supervising operations on various medium to large scale building sites/projects.
• You will have a strong background in overseeing and coordinating site operations, ensuring the highest quality workmanship, as well as driving the achievement of targets, and ensuring the highest level of health and safety on site.
• You will have a solid experience in communicating effectively to the teams, subcontractors and provide expert problem solving skills
• You will be able to pre-empt risk and plan accordingly to mitigate risks, as well as promptly report any issues to avoid delays.
• You must have a valid driver’s licence, own car and a clear criminal and credit record
