Junior Sustainability Consultant - CPT​/JHB

A leading built environment organisation requires a Junior Sustainability Consultant to support sustainability certification initiatives across multiple projects in Johannesburg.

This role is responsible for coordinating Green Star and EDGE certification processes
, managing submission documentation, supporting post-construction audits, conducting site inspections, and ensuring ongoing compliance with certification standards. You will engage closely with consultants, contractors, auditors, and project stakeholders to ensure projects meet sustainability and environmental performance requirements.

• BSc Degree in Sciences, Engineering, Construction, or related field
• GBCSA Green Star AP and IFC EDGE Expert accreditation essential
• Minimum 2 years’ relevant experience within green building or sustainability environments
• Exposure to at least one Green Star certified project
• Valid Driver’s License

• Strong organisational and administration capability
• Ability to manage multiple deadlines and projects simultaneously
• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving ability
• Effective communication and stakeholder coordination skills
• Reliable, structured, and able to work under pressure
