Our client, a well-established Building Contractor, based in Brackenfell (Cape Town) is seeking their Project Coordinator (Technical Office) now!

Qualifications:

Diploma in Civil Engineering.
Diploma in Construction Management.
Diploma in Architectural Technology.
Quantity Surveying qualification with a strong technical understanding.

Experience:

Minimum 3 years in construction industry.
Strong understanding of constructional drawings.
Experience in Project Management.
Procurement coordination experience.
Workshop of manufacturing exposure.
Strong Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office skills,
Experience working across multiple projects simultaneously.

Key responsibilities:

Open and establish new projects.
Compile and maintain complete project files.
Coordinate project documentation.
Maintain project programmes and action lists.
Monitor project programmes and action lists.
Ensure deadlines are met by all departments.
Follow-up outstanding actions with relevant team members.
Prepare weekly project status updates.
Coordinate internal project meetings and distribute minutes.
