IntroductionPosition:
Manager Quantity Surveying, Position/Task Grade: M16, Area of specialization:
To provide and manage the delivery of effective quantity surveying services to the project execution team from a central database. Department:
Nuclear Finance
- Assure that all quantity surveying standard services are provided throughout the project life cycle.
- Manage the delivery of the project quantity surveying service.
- Manage team performance, development of skills, knowledge and capabilities.
- Represent project controls in tender evaluations, contract clarification and cost negotiations.
- Monitor, advise and support project controls and contract administration services.
- Lead and support the collation and compilation of contract documentation.
- Manage compliance with all Eskom and site related governance and safety, health, environment, risk and quality (SHERQ) requirements.

Assessment
- Performance will be measured through the prescribed Eskom performance management system.
- B-Degree B Tech in Quantity Surveying at NQF 7 with 360 Credits.
- Professional registration with the South African Council of Quantity Surveying Professionals (SACQS) as Professional Quantity Surveyor (PrQS).
- 5 years related experience in Quantity Surveying / Cost Engineering / Engineering and Construction Contracts / Project Management in the Built environment.
