Our client, a leading construction company with a strong track record in delivering large-scale commercial, residential, and mixed-use developments, is seeking an experienced Contracts Manager (PrCM) to join their Cape Town team.
This is an excellent opportunity for a senior construction professional to take responsibility for multiple projects, drive operational excellence, and ensure the successful delivery of projects within budget, programme, and quality requirements.
Key Responsibilities- Oversee and manage multiple construction projects from inception to completion.
- Lead project teams and site management personnel to achieve project objectives.
- Ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
- Monitor contractual compliance, risk management, and project performance.
- Manage client, consultant, subcontractor, and stakeholder relationships.
- Review project programmes, resource allocations, and procurement strategies.
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, environmental, and regulatory requirements.
- Prepare and present project reports to senior management and clients.
- Drive continuous improvement and best practice across all project operations.
- Degree or Diploma in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, Building Science, or related field.
- Registered as a Professional Construction Manager (PrCM) with the SACPCMP.
- Minimum of 10 years' experience within the construction industry.
- Proven experience managing large-scale building and construction projects.
- Strong understanding of construction contracts, project planning, and commercial management.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
- Proficiency in construction management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Valid driver's licence.
- Experience in commercial, residential, healthcare, retail, or mixed-use developments.
- Track record of successfully managing multiple projects simultaneously.
- Strong commercial acumen and contractual knowledge.
