Project Manager - Building & Construction

Our client is looking for a driven Project Manager to contribute to the successful delivery of construction projects in Cape Town. The ideal candidate will be comfortable balancing technical project requirements, stakeholder coordination, documentation, and on-site priorities while keeping projects aligned with programme and compliance expectations.

• Take responsibility for coordinating day-to-day project management activities.
• Assess project documentation and ensure information is communicated effectively.
• Monitor adherence to approved construction methodologies and safety requirements.
• Assist in managing project risks, issues, and changes.
• Compile and maintain project reports, schedules, records, and other documentation.
• Apply technology and data-driven tools to improve project planning, monitoring, and reporting.

• Degree in Construction Management, Project Management, Quantity Surveying or Engineering.
• 2–3 years of relevant construction industry experience.
• Knowledge of South African construction contracts, particularly JBCC and FIDIC.
• Strong ability to understand construction drawings, specifications, and project programmes.
• Sound technical knowledge of construction practices, safety, and regulatory compliance.
• Good working knowledge of MS Project, Excel, and digital project documentation tools.
• A willingness to embrace emerging construction technologies, including AI-supported tools, digital dashboards, and data-driven project reporting.
