Senior Project Manager - Infrastructure

Our client is seeking a highly capable Senior Project Manager with expertise in Infrastructure projects to join their team in Upington, Northern Cape . You will be responsible for the end-to-end management of critical infrastructure development and maintenance projects, ensuring their successful delivery within scope, budget, and schedule constraints. This role requires strong leadership, extensive experience in managing large-scale projects, and a deep understanding of infrastructure life cycles.

You will collaborate with a variety of internal and external stakeholders, including engineering teams, government agencies, and contractors, to ensure project objectives are met and high standards of quality and safety are maintained.

• Lead the planning, execution, and closure of complex infrastructure projects.
• Develop detailed project plans, including scope definition, timelines, resource allocation, and risk management.
• Manage project budgets, monitor expenditures, and ensure cost-effectiveness.
• Oversee contractor and vendor performance, ensuring adherence to contractual obligations and quality standards.
• Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations, permits, and safety protocols for infrastructure projects.
• Provide regular, clear, and concise project status reports to senior management and stakeholders.

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
• Minimum of 8 years of progressive experience in project management , with a specialization in infrastructure projects (e.g., roads, utilities, public works).
• Proven track record of successfully managing large-scale capital projects.
• Strong knowledge of contract management, procurement processes, and construction methodologies.
• Excellent leadership, negotiation, and problem-solving abilities.
• PMP or equivalent certification is highly desirable.
