Introduction

The Clicks Group is currently recruiting a DTP Manager to work within our studio. The role will be based at the Clicks Head Office in Cape Town and report directly to the Creative Manager (Promotions).

Job Description:
To deliver excellence in the roll out of all Clicks promotions and making sure that all technical and industry print standards are met with accuracy and precision to deliver on business objectives

Job Objectives:

To oversee and manage all DTP Operators and ticket setters
To ensure style guides, business processes, daily deliverables and technical industry standards are met with precision
To ensure that all produced work is accurate
To ensure the delivery of artwork according to the critical path and deadlines
To review and edit text, graphics, or other materials created by writers and designers
To check proofs and artwork
To ensure interpretation and alignment to all briefs whilst maintaining Clicks brand consistency
To ensure the rollout the of artwork
To deliver specified outcomes and provide others with expert advice while working within established brand programs and briefs
To provide a strong support base to Creative Head to maintain brand consistency and set high design standards across Clicks Promotions

Job

Experience:

Minimum of 6 years’ experience in Desktop Publishing (desirable in retail/FMCG marketing)

Education:

Degree/ Diploma in Desktop Publishing, Graphic design, Advertising, and Art Direction (or related qualification)
