Customer Service Agent - Logistics Industry

Our logistics client is recruiting a Customer Service Agent to keep their clients informed, supported, and confident in their service — from booking a collection to confirming a delivery. It's a role for a natural problem-solver who thinks outside the box and doesn't let a query go unresolved. The position will be based in Cape Town.

• Provide clients with feedback and updates via their ticketing system (primary) and Outlook email.
• Use Whats App to manage internal and client communication groups, an important part of how the client operates.
• Book collections and delivery appointments, and manage pre-alerts.
• Follow up on deliveries and appointment bookings to ensure nothing falls through the cracks.
• Work with your Team Leader to elevate queries where needed and ensure service excellence.
• Liaise with internal and external ops teams to feed accurate updates back to customers.
• Perform daily checks on outstanding queries and follow up through internal systems.

• Experience in customer service and hands-on problem-solving.
• Ability to think outside the box to find solutions for clients.
• Comfortable working across multiple communication channels (ticketing system, email, Whats App).
• Strong follow-through and attention to detail.
• Experience with a parcel/freight management system is an advantage.
