Our client, an established DMC, is looking for an experienced Reservation / Ticketing Consultant to join their air team in Cape Town. You will own your desk, look after your accounts and make sure travellers get the best routing at the best fare.
About the role
You will manage reservations and ticketing for both groups and FIT travellers across your allocated accounts. This is a hands‑on role with room for your own judgement. You will:
- Make reservations and issue tickets on Amadeus, including group bookings
- Handle domestic, regional and international bookings, finding the best routing and fare for each request
- Work on both corporate and leisure bookings
- Invoice on Quicktrav
- Build and maintain strong supplier relationships
What you bring
- Matric / Grade 12 (a tertiary travel or tourism qualification is preferred)
- 5 to 8 years' ticketing and reservations experience, with a focus on group travel
- Strong fares knowledge
- Amadeus and Quicktrav experience (preferred)
- Basic financial knowledge: debits and credits, mark‑ups, margin and VAT, cost of sales, commission, profit and breakeven
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook

- Organised, analytical and a sound decision‑maker
- A good problem solver and conflict resolver who works well to deadlines
- Accurate, with an eye for detail
- Honest, with integrity, and a clear, confident communicator in English
- Capable in project management
