To create visual concepts, using computer software or by hand, to communicate ideas that inspire, inform, and captivate consumers. This will involve defining product specifications, creating digital or print drawings and designing fully functional products.
Job Description- Design of new products/artworks
- Promotions
- Packaging
- Product design and development
- Identifying opportunities for new products
- Analyzing how a new product ties in with market needs and consumer preferences
- Setting design requirements based on briefs from internal teams and external partners
- Research new materials and stay updated with design techniques
- Sketch drafts on paper or digitally (for example, using CAD)
- Use 3D modelling software to design products and components
- Produce prototypes and test functionality
- Improve the design of existing products
Gather feedback from product users - Develop marketing and brand awareness initiatives
- To uphold and promote the company values
Relevant tertiary qualification
Work experience as a Product Development Graphic Designer or similar role
Experience in design
Hands-on experience with computer-aided design (CAD) tools
Experience with design programs
