Overview
This Medical Director position is based in the Middle East and requires relocation. The role leads the quality agenda, clinical programs, and physician alignment with the Hospital’s strategic plans. The Medical Director oversees clinical quality, patient care processes, and team leadership across all sites.

- Perform yearly performance evaluation in a timely manner.
- Review applications, conduct interviews, and hire staff following policy and procedures.
- Ensure all aspects of new employee orientation are completed.
- Determine readiness of new employees to perform duties independently.
- Ensure staff remain current with licenses, registration, and mandatory education.
- Promote a quality environment for staff through work balance and communication.
- Familiarize with HR policies and practices.
- Ensure medical staff abide by the Ethical Framework approved by the Governing Board.
- Prevent medical staff from engaging in activities that conflict with the Hospital’s interest.
- Communicate relevant organizational information to staff in a timely manner.
- Review position descriptions yearly to ensure accuracy.
- Facilitate effective monthly staff meetings and twice monthly physician meetings.
- Develop monthly on‑call and doctor’s ROTA schedule.
- Professionally grow employees and self.
- Provide ongoing clinical excellence by identifying learning needs and evidence‑based information.
- Ensure all staff have appropriate learning opportunities: provide journal copies, give input to the Education Department, arrange inse‑services, and establish a plan for distribution of educational opportunities.
