Curro Holdings seeks to appoint Skills Development Practitioner: CHPC (full-time) at Curro Private College Cape Town in Cape Town to commence duties in April 2026

Key performance areas- Deliver engaging, learner-centred facilitation across theory, practical and workplace modules
- Develop lesson plans and assessment schedules
- Conduct assessments and manage Portfolios of Evidence
- Ensure compliance with institutional and regulatory requirements
- Provide structured learner support and mentorship
- Support internship preparation and workplace placement
- Engage with industry partners to source workplace learning opportunities
- Contribute to online learning material development
- A relevant qualification in Accounting, Financial Administration, Bookkeeping, or a related field (NQF Level 6 or higher preferred).
- Assessor and/or Moderator credentials (ETDP SETA SOR)
- It would be advantageous if facilitator is registered with a relevant accounting Professional Body for Continuous Professional Development purposes
- A valid South African Driver’s license
- 2 years’ assessor experience
- Minimum of 2 years’ facilitation experience
- Prior teaching, facilitation, or training experience in a FET, private college, or workplace training environment
- Strong communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills
- Strong understanding of financial administrative tasks (invoicing, reconciliations, filing systems, financial records, basic accounting processes).
- Knowledge of QCTO requirements and workplace-based learning processes (advantageous).
- Proficiency in MS Office (especially Excel) and the use of a learning management system (LMS).
- Experience facilitating accredited online training
- Familiarity with the Financial Administration Clerk curriculum
- Experience mentoring and supporting students in both theoretical and practical settings
Ability to adapt teaching methodologies to support diverse learning styles - Commitment to professional development and staying current with industry trends
- Experience using the Moodle learning platform
