Rondebosch Boys’ Preparatory School is looking for an enthusiastic, creative and inspiring Art Teacher (Grade 4
- 7) to join our vibrant school community. We are looking for someone who understands that Art is far more than a subject on a timetable. It is a space where boys can explore ideas, express themselves, take creative risks, develop confidence and discover their own voice. If you are an artist at heart, an inspiring teacher and someone who believes that creativity has a powerful role to play in the development of young boys, this could be the opportunity for you.
Starting date: 1 January 2027
The OpportunityAs our Art Teacher, you will play an important role in developing and nurturing creativity across the school. You will create engaging, age-appropriate learning experiences that introduce boys to a wide range of artistic disciplines, techniques, artists and ideas. You will encourage curiosity and experimentation while helping boys develop the technical skills and confidence to bring their ideas to life. We want our boys to leave the Art room not only having learnt how to create, but having learnt how to look, think, question and express themselves.
You will have the opportunity to contribute to the broader cultural life of Rondebosch Boys’ Preparatory School and to work alongside colleagues who are passionate about providing a rich and holistic educational experience.
Rondebosch Boys' Preparatory School is a school with a proud heritage and an exciting future. We value excellence, relationships, innovation, character and belonging. Our boys are encouraged to discover their strengths, challenge themselves and contribute positively to the community around them.
As an educator at Bosch, you will become part of a team that understands that some of the most important learning happens beyond the textbook. If you are passionate about Art, passionate about teaching and passionate about helping boys discover what they are capable of, we would love to hear from you. Come and help us inspire the next generation of creators, thinkers and storytellers.
