Requirements- 3-year working experience in mechanical, avionic and electronics
- Trade Test Certificate
- X and or W Licenses would be advantageous
- Experience working with internal and external clients.
- Carry out duties as assigned by Crew Chief/Satellite station manager.
- Repair all electrical /mechanical and avionics snags as per Manufacturer documentation.
- Build /service and overhauling of electrical /mechanical and avionics components as per Manufacturer documentation.
- Re-wire / restore electrical /mechanical and avionics systems on 2000 Hr. aircraft.
- Manage and maintain the lead Acid Battery Shop.
- To inspect and control the quality of tasks performed.
- Carrying out of special inspections as required by Manufacturer or Aviation Authority or MOP.
- Ensure all paperwork, documentation, manuals, and inspection schedules issued by Manufacturer and SACAA are adhered to and completed.
- Carry out aircraft maintenance aircraft maintenance manual & AC43.13 using hand tools and power tools.
- Clean parts, panels, and aircraft before inspection of Maintenance Manual.
- Conduct routine special inspections as required.
- Carry out corrosion removal, treatment, and prevention.
- Carry out paint touch-up as required Maintenance Manual.
- Read and interpret Pilot description of problems to diagnose cause.
- Obtain fuel and oil samples and check for contaminants.
- Re-fuel and de-fuel aircraft iaw M/M.
- Train and guide Apprentices.
- Perform duties according to AMO MOP.
- Ensure all documentation is completed and up to date daily.
- Prepare and present lessons on knowledge acquired during duties monthly.
- Any other related duties that might be assigned to you from time to time by your Supervisor/Manager.
