Graduate Engineer

This is a full-time, on‑site Graduate Engineer role located in Cape Town. The Graduate Engineer will assist in conducting materials and metallurgical testing, root cause failure analysis, and quality assurance/quality control evaluations. Responsibilities include performing laboratory and fieldwork, analyzing test results, preparing technical reports, and supporting materials selection and optimization processes, conducting root cause analysis and work with legal professionals to provide litigation support as well as insurance professionals to assist with claims management.

We require strict compliance quality and safety standards will be essential in this role.

• Bachelors Degree in Mechanical, Mechatronic, Chemical, Metallurgical or Materials Engineering
• 3-5 years work experience in engineering.
• Solid works experience is a benefit
• A strong interest in Materials Engineering and pivoting and applying prior knowledge to more Materials Engineering related matters.
• Experience with fabrication codes such as ASME AWSD
  1.1 ISO 17025 AMPP codes and other relevant codes is a benefit.
