Position: Materials Testers - Civil Engineering Laboratory (Various Locations)
Job Description

Material Testers (Various Locations

Must be Competent and qualified to execute all tests in one laboratory division ( soils, asphalt / seals, concrete /aggregate) with bench calculations.

Fieldwork (densities, layer/stockpile sampling, manufacture and handle concrete cubes, DCP, Ring and Ball test (road surfaces), Sand Patch, On site Viscosity tests, Sampling of Asphalt and Bitumen

Senior Materials Tester (Lab and Fieldwork) (Various Locations

Fieldwork (densities, layer/stockpile sampling, manufacture and handle concrete cubes, DCP, Ring and Ball test (road surfaces), Sand Patch, On site Viscosity tests, Sampling of Asphalt and Bitumen.

Competent and qualified to do all tests in all laboratory divisions ( soils, asphalt / seals, concrete / aggregate) and do all calculations in full.

Control laboratory activities quality control under supervision.

Qualifications

Grade 12

Language:
Proficiency in English (Read, write, speak)

Computer literacy in Word, Excel, Outlook

Must be competent and comfortable with latest test methods
