Mechanical Engineer – Building Services – Cape Town 2026
A well‑established, multi‑disciplinary consulting engineering firm is looking for a Mechanical Engineer specialised in Building Services to join their Cape Town team. The role is permanent and offers the chance to work on a diverse range of building projects.
Key Responsibilities- Design and project administration of HVAC systems, wet services and other building services.
- Develop detailed designs from concept through to specification and documentation.
- Oversee CAD and Revit personnel to produce professional engineering drawings and BIM models.
- Contribute to the preparation and delivery of complex Revit/BIM models and associated AutoCAD drawings.
To be considered, candidates should have:
- BTech or BEng in Mechanical Engineering.
- 2–10 years of experience in HVAC design and mechanical building services.
- Strong technical ability to develop designs from concept to completion.
- Professional registration is not mandatory – candidates in the registration process are welcome.
- Experience with Revit modelling and BIM workflows is a distinct advantage.
