Support Engineer

A technically strong and solutions-driven Technical Support Engineer is required to support cutting-edge solar PV and energy storage projects in a fast-paced, high-impact environment.

This opportunity is ideal for an engineer passionate about renewable energy and delivering technical excellence. The successful candidate will act as a key technical advisor to clients, EPCs, installers, and internal teams, ensuring that solar PV and energy storage systems are designed, implemented, and supported to the highest standards. You will operate at the intersection of engineering and customer engagement, providing both pre- and post-sales support while contributing to system optimisation, troubleshooting, and continuous improvement across projects.

• National Diploma or BTech in Electrical Engineering, Renewable Energy, or a related field

• Minimum 3 years’ experience in a technical solar PV or electrical engineering role
• Hands‑on experience with inverters, batteries, mounting systems, and DB boards
• Strong understanding of residential, commercial, and industrial energy systems
• Experience with design tools such as PV
  * Sol or Helioscope (advantageous)
• Strong communication skills with the ability to engage both technical and non-technical stakeholders
• Valid driver’s licence with willingness to travel

• Deliver pre- and post-sales technical support to clients and internal teams
• Support system sizing, product selection, and performance optimisation
• Review and advise on system designs, including inverters, batteries, and configurations
• Conduct remote and on-site troubleshooting, assessments, and commissioning support
• Facilitate training sessions, product demonstrations, and webinars
  
  Maintain accurate records of technical queries and resolutions
• Collaborate with sales, logistics, and product teams to ensure seamless project execution
• Provide feedback on new technologies, product improvements, and market trends
