I’m currently partnering with a leading organisation in the renewable energy sector to appoint a Head of Engineering to lead and scale its technical function. This is a strategic leadership role suited for a highly experienced Electrical Engineer with a strong background in solar PV
, electrical system design
, and Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS).

Core Requirements:

BEng / BSc in Electrical Engineering
10+ years’ experience in renewable energy / power / electrical engineering
Proven expertise in:
- Solar PV system design (utility-scale or C&I)
- Electrical system design (MV/HV advantageous)
- Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS)
Demonstrated leadership experience:
- Head of Engineering / Engineering Manager / Technical Lead level
- Managing and mentoring engineering teams
- Setting technical direction and standards
Experience with in IPPs, EPCs, or large-scale energy projects

ECSA registration (PrEng) advantageous
