Structural Engineer

We are seeking a Structural Engineer to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering structural engineering solutions, managing projects, and contributing to high-quality technical outputs within a multidisciplinary consulting engineering environment.

• Conduct major assignments in the Structural Engineering Field.
• Plan, organize, control complex projects, and make recommendations on alternate solutions to engineering problems.
• Prepare and present technical reports.
• Design and manage structural engineering projects in a multi-disciplinary consulting engineering environment.
• Responsible for analysis of reinforced concrete and steel structures.
• Lead small design teams.
• Produce quality work that conforms to our ISO quality standards.
• Monitor and manage the design teams to meet deadlines.
• Client and project team liaison.

• Role model standards for SHEQ performance and behaviour consistent with the company’s health, safety, environmental and quality vision and policies.
• Contribute to the identification of SHEQ risks and drive processes to achieve Zero Harm.
• Embrace, display and promote the company values and ensure a safe working environment is maintained at all times.

• Ideally 5 or more years’ experience mainly structural engineering with Pr Eng or eligible for registration.
• Civil engineering experience advantageous.
• Project Management experience advantageous.

• Proven record of delivering in a deadline-oriented environment.
• Excellent interpersonal skills.
• Computer literate in AutoCAD, Prokon, MS Office Suite, MS Projects.
• Ability to interact with the office team and construction team.
• Valid Driver’s License.
• Pride in work.
• Client focused.
• Willing to travel.
