Project Manager, Quality Engineering, Mechanical Engineer

As a BBBEE joint venture, we specialise in steel fabrication, industrial piping, mechanical fitting, ship repair, corrosion protection, and NDT services.

Assist in coordinating and executing projects from quotation to installation, ensuring:

• Safe working environments
• On‑time, on‑budget delivery
• High‑quality workmanship
• Strong client satisfaction

• Coordinate projects from quotation to completion (technical, schedule, cost, and progress)
• Prepare tenders, budgets, and project documentation
• Manage project execution, including procurement and fabrication follow‑up
• Conduct site surveys and lead technical review meetings
• Liaise with clients and stakeholders on technical matters
• Monitor project progress, quality and profitability
• Support 3D modelling and shop detailing (CAD/Solid Works)
• Ensure compliance with health, safety, quality and regulatory standards
• Coordinate resources (manpower, materials, equipment)
• Assist with QA/QC processes, NDT requirements and documentation
• Support business development and client relationship building
• Supervise and mentor junior engineers
• Travel to sites for installation/project oversight when required

• Qualification in Mechanical Engineering (BEng / BTech / ND or similar)
• 6‑10 years’ experience in project engineering (Oil & Gas, energy, or similar)
• Knowledge of fabrication processes
• Proficiency in MS Office, MS Project, CAD/Solid Works
• Strong communication skills (English & Afrikaans)
• Understanding of project management, safety and quality standards
