FITTERS MANAGER - ENGINEERING (EPPING, CAPE TOWN)

Responsible for leading the fitter’s department within a heavy industrial plant, overseeing all mechanical maintenance, breakdown response, and preventative maintenance. The role ensures optimal equipment performance, reduced downtime, and effective team supervision in a high-pressure environment.
Requirements- Grade 12
- Red Seal Mechanical Fitter qualification
- 10+ years’ heavy industry experience
- 5+ years’ management experience
- Strong mechanical maintenance and fault‑finding ability
- Experience with preventative maintenance systems (CMMS)
- Knowledge of OHSA and safety compliance
- Physically fit (heights/confined spaces)
- Strong leadership and communication skills
- Computer literate (MS Office)
- Valid driver’s licence
- Hydraulic experience advantageous
