Mechanical Maintenance Engineer

Join AL DAHRA AGRICULTURAL, a leading company in the FARMING division located in Toshka, as a Mechanical Maintenance Engineer. This role offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to the reliable operation and continuous improvement of our farming machinery and mechanical systems, ensuring optimal productivity and efficiency within our agricultural operations.

• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance for mechanical equipment and systems across the agricultural project
• Troubleshoot mechanical faults related to pumps, gearboxes, pipelines, valves, generators, center pivots, and rotating equipment
• Ensure reliable operation of irrigation systems, water pumping stations, and agricultural utilities
• Monitor equipment performance and reduce downtime through effective maintenance practices
• Inspect and maintain pipelines, valves, fittings, hydraulic systems, and mechanical components
• Coordinate maintenance activities with electrical teams, operation teams, and contractors
• Prepare maintenance schedules, breakdown reports, and spare parts requirements
• Ensure compliance with safety procedures and company HSE standards
• Support installation and commissioning of new mechanical equipment when required
• Conduct routine inspections and recommend improvements to enhance equipment reliability and efficiency
• Respond promptly to emergency breakdowns and operational issues

• Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering (Mechanical Power preferred)
• 2–5 years of experience in mechanical maintenance
• Experience in agricultural, irrigation, industrial, utilities, or infrastructure projects is preferred
• Good knowledge of pumps, pipelines, valves, rotating equipment, and hydraulic systems
• Familiarity with center pivot irrigation systems is an advantage
• Ability to read mechanical drawings and technical manuals
• Valid driving license
