Wastewater Engineer

A large consulting company with offices across South Africa offers a Wastewater Engineer role.

• BEng or BSc (Eng) in Civil Engineering or Mechanical Engineering.
• At least 5 years post graduate experience specifically on wastewater treatment engineering projects.
• Engineering planning, process design, or infrastructure design experience for wastewater or water treatment is a distinct advantage.
• Professional registration (Pr. Eng.) would be an advantage.

• Perform complex engineering, design, calculation, and analysis of wastewater treatment improvements/upgrades.
• Assist with the compilation of planning and business reports for the upgrading or improvement of wastewater treatment plant designs.
• Assist in producing key deliverables required by the client to support their project implementation requirements, including assessment of technical or financial feasibility, technical assessment of process or infrastructure decisions, technical specifications, and/or procurement documentation.
• Assist with the management of project work to deliver high quality outputs within constrained time frames.
• Be a team player willing to collaborate across multiple disciplines and international geographies.
• Ensure that all work complies with the company’s quality control procedures and that the required quality standards are maintained.
