• Responsible for design and modelling within municipal services realm – from planning to detailed design and construction drawings specific to land development and municipal infrastructure. (Roads, stormwater, water, sewer, telecoms, bulk earthworks)
• Assist in the preparation of project specifications, BoQ’s, cost estimates and tender documentation.
• Prepare reports required by the project, implementation of all relevant codes of practice and ensuring that all work complies with Zutari’s quality control procedures and is implemented to
• Knowledge and experience of working with relevant engineering codes, standards, and practices and specifically SANS 1200.
• Must be able to work well in a team to support the Project Leader but should also have the capability to take the lead on project designs.
• Ensure the quality of drawings produced and that the required drawing standards are maintained.
• Undertake construction supervision duties where required.
• Deliver excellent client service and experience when presented with the opportunity.
• Confident, well‑spoken, disciplined, detail and deadline / delivery orientated.
• Excellent communication skills (proven ability to interact well with personnel at all organizational levels).
• Excellent organisational skills (ability to plan and implement) and time management skills.

• B Sc / BEng or B Eng Tech in Civil Engineering
• Minimum of 3 years’ experience post qualification as a designer in Land Infrastructure projects
• Must be AutoCAD proficient.
• Must be Civil 3D proficient - in terms of the design of civil services and earthworks.
