PCB Electronics Engineer

Overview

A well-established international manufacturing engineering company is looking for a PCB Electronics Engineer to join their team on a full-time permanent basis at their premises in Cape Town.

• Minimum Qualifications, Ndip, Electrical, BTech or Equivalent Engineering degree
• Experience in PCB CAD Design in a production environment
• Have experience in Circuit Prototyping and Testing
• Experience in electronics and embedded systems design and programming in C
• Proven experience in PCB design, assembly and repair
• Strong soldering skills (through-hole & SMD)
• Ability to use testing equipment (power supplies, multimeters, oscilloscopes, etc.)
• Attention to detail and problem-solving mindset
• Be multi-skilled in the workshop and perform electrical PLC panel wiring if required

• Design / Update existing PCB designs with analog and digital subsystems
• Assemble, solder, and repair printed circuit boards (PCBs)
• Perform component testing and troubleshooting
• Read and interpret electronic schematics
• Ensure quality control and compliance with industry standards
