Project Engineer, Mechanical Engineer

Overview

Project Engineer – Permanent. Cinco Engineering, part of the global 3C Metal Ortec Group, based in Cape Town Harbour. Focuses on steel fabrication, industrial piping, mechanical fitting, ship repair, corrosion protection, and NDT services.

Role location:
Cape Town Harbour. The company is a BBBEE joint venture delivering high-quality engineering solutions across the energy and industrial sectors.

Assist in coordinating and executing projects from quotation to installation, ensuring safe working environments, on-time and on-budget delivery, high-quality workmanship, and strong client satisfaction. Be part of a team driving innovative, turnkey engineering solutions.

• Prepare project, materials and coordinate on-site installation
• Manage projects, understand the clients' requirements and assist in defining the project requirements
• Close projects, prepare the project summary and financial analysis
• Manage customer relations
• QHSE management: ensure personnel comply with Company and Client QHSE policies and systems

• 2-5 years' experience in a similar role
• Good understanding of the Engineering, Oil & Gas & Nuclear Power related technical requirements
• Technical knowledge in steel fabrication, understanding of related symbols, knowledge of high-pressure piping and technical knowledge of welding processes
