Project Manager, Operations Management, Mechanical Engineer

As a BBBEE joint venture, we specialize in steel fabrication, industrial piping, mechanical fitting, ship repair, corrosion protection, and NDT services.

Project Manager – Permanent

Assist in coordinating and executing projects from quotation to installation, ensuring safe working environments, on-time and on-budget delivery, high-quality workmanship, and strong client satisfaction.

• Coordinate projects from quotation to completion (technical, schedule, cost, and progress)
• Prepare tenders, budgets, and project documentation
• Manage project execution, including procurement and fabrication follow-up
• Conduct site surveys and lead technical review meetings
• Liaise with clients and stakeholders on technical matters
• Monitor project progress, quality, and profitability
• Support 3D modelling and shop detailing (CAD/Solid Works)
• Ensure compliance with health, safety, quality, and regulatory standards
• Coordinate resources (manpower, materials, equipment)
• Assist with QA/QC processes, NDT requirements, and documentation
• Support business development and client relationship building
• Supervise and mentor junior engineers
• Travel to sites for installation/project oversight when required

• Qualification in Mechanical Engineering (BEng / BTech / ND or similar)
• 6-10 years’ experience in project engineering (Oil & Gas, energy, or similar)
• Knowledge of fabrication processes
• Proficiency in MS Office, MS Project, CAD/Solid Works
• Strong communication skills (English & Afrikaans)
• Understanding of project management, safety, and quality standards
