Electrical Engineer

Job Description

A medium sized Consulting company with branches in Pretoria, Durban and Cape Town are looking to hire an Electrical Engineer.

Minimum Requirements:

• BEng/BSc in Electrical Engineering

• Minimum 3 years experience in the design of building services

Your responsibilities will include:

• Technical design, engineering and coordination of all electrical building services including:

? Medium voltage substation design.

? MV distribution design.

? LV distribution & reticulation.

? LV Panel and distribution design.

? Generator system design.

? UPS System design.

? Light Design.

? Power and socket outlet design.

• Supervision of project installation and contractors

• Project administration – Attending site meetings, Payment certificates, approval of technical submissions, etc.

• Tender documentation.

• Project finance – Cost estimates and boq’s;

• Internal project administration.

• Transfer of technical skills.
