Senior Draughtsman

Key Responsibilities:

Prepare detailed 2D and 3D mechanical drawings for HVAC, ventilation and air movement systems. Produce manufacturing, fabrication and assembly drawings. Develop drawings for fans, ducting, air-handling systems and associated mechanical components. Interpret engineering designs, specifications and technical requirements. Make design modifications and drawing revisions as required. Ensure drawings comply with relevant engineering standards and project specifications. Work closely with Engineers, Manufacturing and other departments to ensure designs are practical and manufacturable.

Review drawings for accuracy, dimensions, tolerances and manufacturability. Provide technical support to production and fabrication teams where required. Assist with resolving design and manufacturing queries. Ensure all drawings are completed accurately and within project deadlines

Proven experience as a Mechanical Draughtsman, preferably within an engineering, manufacturing, HVAC or ventilation environment. National Diploma, Diploma or relevant qualification in Mechanical Engineering/Draughting would be advantageous. Proven Solid Works experience Driver's license / own transport Experience with sheet metal, fabrication, ducting or fan-related products would be highly advantageous.
