Our client is seeking an experienced Geometric Roads Engineer to join its Roads Department in Cape Town.

Key Responsibilities

Lead and manage geometric road design projects from concept through to completion.
Prepare and review geometric road designs using Civil 3D.
Coordinate multidisciplinary project teams to ensure successful project delivery.
Ensure designs comply with SANRAL standards and relevant engineering guidelines.
Liaise with clients, contractors, and project stakeholders.
Review technical documentation, drawings, and project deliverables.
Mentor and support junior engineers and technical staff.
Contribute to project planning, quality assurance, and programme management.

Requirements

Degree in Civil Engineering or a related qualification.
Experience in geometric road design.
Proficiency in Civil 3D modelling.
Previous experience working on SANRAL projects.
Demonstrated ability to lead engineering teams and manage project delivery.
Strong communication, problem-solving, and organisational skills.
Knowledge of South African road design standards and best practices.
